Hello!

My name is Carter Dionne, I’m a psychology major. My interest in psychology sparked when I realized how much I had to be there for my friends at an emotional level. I then learned that wanting to understand why and how people get to these moments and I wanted to learn how I can help them the best way possible so I can help more people other than just my friends. I also fell in love with working with kids with special needs after volunteering for the unified basketball team. Seeing those kids be able to have fun with a sport and be treated right is something I wanted to continue doing and with the help of the psychology degree I can really help kids with special needs and also be able to help other people. Throughout my years of learning about psychology it really has made me appreciate the mind and what we all as people ego through. It has challenged me to think in several different aspects to understand more into the human brain.
